Film Festival: Hong Kong New Wave is a fictional film festival that is showing a series of films surrounding the genre Hong Kong New Wave. This poster words as an advertisement for the festival. This poster can also be transformed into a brochure to further read the details of each film being shown at this festival.

The text of the film genre was blurred to represent the hazy depictions of emotion that most Hong Kong New Wave films are known for. The fine text that gives a synopsis of each film that will be shown are aligned in between the two characters in the main image of the poster, representing the barrier and words left unsaid.
